Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year!
Dear Highlands Families, Students, and Community Members,
We are thrilled to open our doors once again and extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students and families. At Highlands High School, we are excited for another year of growth, achievement, and connection.
Our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for a year filled with meaningful learning experiences, school spirit, and student success. We remain committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year, we are placing a strong emphasis on partnership. Education is most powerful when it’s a shared effort, and we know our students succeed best when families and the broader community are actively engaged in school life. We invite you to be an active participant in our school community: whether by attending events, volunteering, cheering on our student-athletes, supporting our performing arts, or simply staying connected with us throughout the year.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming events, performances, and Back to School Night: you’ll find them on our school website and social media channels. Your presence matters, and your support makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for entrusting us with your students and for being an essential part of the Highlands family. We look forward to a fantastic school year.
With Rams Pride & Spirit,
Patrick Baughman, Principal
Kaitlyn Grzywinski-Selfridge, Assistant Principal
